Smith is the general contractor on the 224,000-square-foot, 132-unit condo project, which is being built for the Mandel Group.

Loan requests approved for PAK Technologies and Midwest Stairs & Iron building purchases

PAK Technologies Inc. and Midwest Stairs & Iron Inc. both received lending assistance from the Milwaukee Economic Development Corp. to help pay for buildings they want to buy.

Over the next two years, Midwest Stairs & Iron plans to add eight to 10 full-time staff.
